Equine Assisted Psychotherapy

• Counselling with a therapist, assisted by horses (on the ground work)
• Horses helping people with relationships, trauma, anxiety, grief, depression
• Eagala Certified

Education and Support Groups

We offer education and/or support groups for persons dealing with issues such as cancer support and bereavement, self-esteem, and child abuse trauma. 

Workshops and Seminars

On request, we present workshops and seminars in areas such as marriage preparation, depression, mental health, mindfulness, psychological trauma, stress management, conflict management, and cross-cultural transition.

Consulting and Supervision

• We provide consultation and supervision for helping professionals and psychotherapists
• We provide a work setting and supervision for graduate students in counselling programs

Psychology

MCHA is currently affiliated with a Psychologist who is offsite.

Psychiatry

Psychiatrist, Dr. Lo is also available to our Meadowbrook clients for a one-time consultation in the area of mood and anxiety disorders. Assessments can be provided in English or Cantonese. He is located offsite at 502-245 Fairview Mall Drive and can be reached at 647-350-7675 (x1).
